父親が牧師で、幼少期よりゴスペルを歌って育ったHorace Brown。1991年、友人のDevanteに渡したデモテープがきっかけとなり、その後バックシンガーなどの経験を積む。Uptown Recordsよりデビュー予定でしたが、社長のMotownへの移籍とともに彼も連れていかれ、1996年に本作をリリース。シングルカットされている、Thing We Do For Love, Taste Your Loveなども良いのですが、その他の曲、Why Why Why, How Can We Stop, I Want You Baby, Gotta Find a Wayが秀逸で、完成度の高いアルバムです。11曲目のYou Need A ManはDevanteのプロデュース。
His ｆather is a pastor he was singing a gospel childhood. He passed Demo tape to a friend's devante in 1991.then experienced to debut from Uptown records but moved along with the transfer of then president to Motown and released this album in 1996. Single cut is nice songs also ''Things We Do For Love'' ''Taste Your Love'' etc, but other songs are great! ''Why Why Why'' ''How Can We Stop'' ''I Want You baby'' Gotta Find a way'' ....
